Плановое техническое обслуживание мостов автомобиля. Задние мосты и модули отбора мощности, содержащие синтетическую жидкость, а также легкие грузовики, оборудованные мостами конструкции Ford, смазаны на весь срок службы. Эти жидкости не требуют осмотра или замены, помимо случаев, когда подозревается их утечка, необходим ремонт или мост был погружен в воду. Во время длительной буксировки прицепа при температуре наружного воздуха выше 21 °C и при полностью открытой дроссельной заслонке на скорости более 72 км/ч замену органического масла заднего моста необходимо производить через каждые 4800 км пробега или каждые три месяца, в зависимости от того, что наступит раньше. Интервал замены жидкости может быть увеличен в случае, если в мост залито трансмиссионное масло 75W140, соответствующее спецификации WSL-M2C192-A компании Ford, номер по каталогу F1TZ-19580-B, либо аналогичное. Добавьте присадку для снижения трения XL-3 (EST-M2C118-A) или аналогичную для полной замены масла в задних мостах Traction-Lock (подробнее см. в пункте Технические характеристики раздела Заправочные объемы и технические характеристики).
Техническое обслуживание мостов автомобилей, использующихся в полиции, такси или центрах проката. Заменяйте смазочную жидкость для заднего моста через каждые 160 000 км. Интервал замены жидкости может быть увеличен в случае, если в мост залито трансмиссионное масло 75W140, соответствующее спецификации WSL-M2C192-A компании Ford, номер по каталогу FITZ-19580-B, либо аналогичное. Добавьте 118 мл присадки для снижения трения XL-3 (EST-M2C118-A) или аналогичную для полной замены смазочной жидкости в задних мостах Traction-Lock. Масло для моста необходимо заменять каждый раз после погружения моста в воду. Интервалы замены масла в жарких климатических условиях. Для автомобилей, которые эксплуатируются на Среднем Востоке, в Северной Америке, странах Африки к югу от Сахары или в других местах, имеющих подобные климатические условия, и в двигателях которых используется моторное масло качества SM или SN, сертифицированное Американским институтом нефтепродуктов на применение с бензиновыми двигателями (сертификационный знак), стандартный интервал замены моторного масла составляет 8000 км. Если невозможно использовать моторные масла API SM или SN, то интервал замены моторного масла должен составлять 4800 км. Замена воздушных фильтров двигателя и салона. Срок службы воздушных фильтров двигателя и салона зависит от количества пыли и грязи. Автомобили, эксплуатируемые в таких условиях, требуют более частого осмотра и замены воздушных фильтров двигателя и салона.
